If you’re on the go with a toddler or young child then you know how important it is to have a seat that is not only safe, but also comfortable. With the Compass B570 Pathway Booster Seat from The First Years you get comfort and style along with a 5-star rating for “Best Bet” from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and “Ease of Use” from the National Highway Transportation Administration (NHTSA).

Even with our previous car seat, I often worried that it wasn’t secured properly. Making sure the belt was lined up, tight and wouldn’t move over time could be a problem. So, when little man had outgrown his car seat and it was time to graduate to a booster, I worried even more. I was sure he would like the change to his ‘big boy’ seat, but would it be secure? Switching to the Pathway Booster Seat, my worries have disappeared. The Pathway Booster, from The First Years, allows me to safely adjust the belt up to 1.5″ so my son is always comfortable AND always safe. The self-adjusting back also ensures that it has the perfect fit no matter which car I’m driving. If I’m driving without my son, there is a lower anchor harness that keeps the seat in place so it doesn’t slide around when I turn or stop.

Another feature is the adjustable headrest. It’s designed to give your child a deep, contored cushion to contain your child’s head during a head on collision and keep their head in place during a side impact as well. I knew I wanted the best protection for his little noggin, but I worried it would also block his view and make him restless during drives. That can make things unsafe as well! I didn’t need to worry though. He can see everything around him while staying safe at the same time.

Compass B570 Pathway Booster Seat The First YearsThe seat is fast and easy to install – I can do it with one hand. I can’t say that about many other seats on the market. (It took me at least 3 minutes to fasten him into his previous car seat!) The seat is also so open and comfortable that you won’t be fighting with them anymore to ‘put your hand here’ or ‘don’t pull on that’ etc. They climb in, the belt is extended through the guide, over their shoulder, through the second guide and CLIP you’re done. Secure, safe and comfortable. Don’t forget about all the cool additional features as well like slide out drink/snack holders (removable and dishwasher safe) and arm rests that move up and out of the way for easier in and out.  Did I mention it only weights 9 pounds AND it folds in half for easy transfer from home to car or car to car? It’s a win – win situation.

One that is easy to install with the latch hooks.. some are so hard lol. A cup holder is key as well!

I LOVE the fact that the seat can be kept secure when my child is not in it! I have been stressing over finding a new car seat and was not quite ready to go to just a booster seat, this is perfect!!

That not only would it be comfortable for her but it would be safe as well, my daughter is tall for her age so a lot of the standard sizes are too small on her lengthwise.

One feature I look for is an adjustable headrest. I also like for it to have a cup holder, too.

I always look for latch because it makes it easy to remove and put it back in. We only have one car so if I go somewhere with friends we have to remember to take the seat out. It would be great to have one at home with me. I would be able to go without planning.

Besides the obvious safety features, it’s important to me that the seat is versatile and has a wide weight range capacity so that we can use it for a long time.

When it comes to purchasing a car seat, it is essential that the carseat be rear facing as long as possible. Substantial weight limits is what matters most to me!

My wife and i were quite contented when Chris could deal with his researching by way of the precious recommendations he gained while using the web pages. It is now and again perplexing to just choose to be giving away strategies that many other folks might have been trying to sell. We really already know we need the website owner to thank for this. The illustrations you made, the simple web site navigation, the friendships you give support to foster it is many excellent, and it’s aiding our son in addition to the family consider that that subject matter is exciting, which is tremendously important. Thanks for all!
