Diamond Candles Ring Reveal
What’s better than a deliciously scented candle? A deliciously scented candle with jewelry inside! Thanks to the Diamond Candles team, I got to dig for treasure and be swept away to the tropics – all at once. Come along with me for my Diamond Candles Reveal!
Maybe you’ve heard the buzz, but wondered – What IS Diamond Candles? These are earth friendly, soy candles that contain real rings worth $10, $100, $1,000, or even $5,000. Each candle is made right here in the US; Durham, North Carolina to be exact. As if being earth friendly, made with natural soy and produced in the US isn’t enough to make you consider shopping with Diamond Candles – the company’s origin is a story that will melt your heart as well.
David met Brenda for the first time in November of 1978 when they were both still in high school. He knew the first time that he laid eyes on her that she was going to be his wife one day. Several years later at a picnic in his parents’ back yard, David got down on one knee and proposed to Brenda just two years after their first date. She said yes! Throughout the next year, David worked long hours in construction and had been saving up every penny to buy something nice for his wife for their anniversary. He went to the local jewelry store and bought her a beautiful diamond ring. Unfortunately he couldn’t find a box to put it in so he grabbed a candle, knowing Brenda loved them. As he was walking out of the store – ring in one hand, candle in the other – the idea of Diamond Candles was born.
Diamond Candles come in a wide variety of scents – everything from Cotton Candy to Cozy Cabin or even Fresh Snow. Each 21 oz candle is $24.95 and comes in a decorative glass jar with lid. I have to say the smell of my Hawaiian Coconut was marvelous. I felt like I was sipping a Pina Colada on the beach instead of sitting at my desk. Once you have your Diamond Candle you simply light it and wait for the wax to melt down to where your golden ring package waits. I was lucky – mine was close to the surface. It was so hard waiting for it to be revealed!

The ring was a large, clear, teardrop solitaire in a silver filigree setting. Unfortunately, the “GR CHINA” stamp means it’s not a real stone, but I have to say I’m not disappointed – the ring is high quality. It’s very heavy and the stone sparkles like crazy. I think it may be silver plated, but I can’t be sure. I do know that I’ll be wearing it on special nights out with the hubby. It’s very eye catching and classy. It is better made than most of the high dollar costume jewelry rings I’ve purchased in the past.
