For the past year my husband has been juicing his breakfasts. He loves the kale, pears and carrots each and every morning. I wanted to join the liquid habit, but I need something a little more creative. I’m an slave to frosty desserts so I needed something that would trick my brain into thinking I was having a treat while still treating my body right. I decided 2014 would be my year to join the Smoothie Nation. Okay…I just made that title up, but it’s really true. Smoothies are definitely a growing, healthy eating trend and I’m ready to sign up.
My mother gave us a Ninja Master Prep System for Christmas and it takes all the extra work out of smoothie making. The system has a lot of power, but I think I’ve finally got the hang of it.
